Last week, ENSET celebrated the 3rd edition of the Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week (GEIW), held from May 21st to May 24th, 2025. For three unforgettable days, the campus was transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity, innovation, and collaboration, featuring a packed agenda: insightful keynote talks, hands-on workshops, dynamic competitions, and meaningful networking opportunities.
For those three days, ENSET didn’t feel like school anymore—it felt like an innovation campus.
A Unique Spirit of Community
What makes GEIW truly special is the atmosphere. Everyone—students, professors, and administrative staff—steps into a shared space of discovery and enthusiasm. There's a sense of unity where ideas matter more than titles, and creativity leads the way. It’s an experience that reminds you of the power of community-driven momentum.

Throwback to 2024 – Speakathon with ENSPEC
This wasn’t my first time participating in GEIW. Back in 2024, I was actively involved as part of ENSPEC (English Speakers Community)—a student club that fosters English communication through events and expression platforms.
That year, we organized "Speakathon", a public speaking competition conducted entirely in English. The aim was simple yet powerful: to empower students with their voices. Watching peers break through the fear of public speaking and grow in confidence was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had on campus.
This Year’s Shift – New Role, New Lens
Although I wasn’t as hands-on this year compared to 2024, I noticed a clear evolution in the quality and execution of the event. Better coordination, broader club involvement, and increased support contributed to a smoother, more professional edition.
Notably, this year was also symbolic, as it aligned with ENSET’s 40th anniversary—adding heritage and depth to the occasion.
The ENSET Challenge
This year I contributed in a technical and collaborative capacity through GDG ENSET (Google Developer Group). Together with fellow tech communities like N7GEEKS and N7SEC, we launched a brand-new, ambitious competition: the ENSET Challenge.
What Is the ENSET Challenge?
The ENSET Challenge was a two-part, multidisciplinary competition blending a Hackathon with a CTF (Capture the Flag) cybersecurity contest. The format was designed to simulate real-world problems where teams had to:
- Design and prototype full-stack applications,
- Solve security-based puzzles under pressure,
- Work collaboratively, and
- Present their solutions to judges.
The ENSET Challenge tested not just technical skills, but also critical thinking, collaboration, and resilience under pressure.
Despite my limited availability—I could only attend the first two days—it was deeply inspiring to watch students across disciplines rise to the challenge and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Beyond the Events – A Culture in the Making
What left the biggest mark on me this year was the collaborative spirit between clubs. We weren’t just running activities; we were shaping a culture of innovation and initiative. GEIW 2025 showed that when passionate students are given a platform, incredible things happen.
GEIW isn’t just a school event—it’s a launchpad for ideas, a stage for emerging talent, and a reminder of the power of student initiative.
Looking Ahead
As I reflect on this edition of GEIW, I feel proud of how far we’ve come—both as a community and as individuals. I’m already excited for next year’s edition, with hopes for even greater impact, broader participation, and bolder ideas.
GEIW 2025 was a celebration of ENSET’s past and a bold leap toward its future.
